Lee Pace is currently starting to become a bigger names thanks to his roles in Lincoln, The Hobbit, and Twilight, and he was actually mentioned as one of the contenders for for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy lead role. Despite not getting that part, Pace is said to be up for some other big parts, and his fan base is continuing to rise.
In a new interview with GQ Magazine, Pace discussed his penchant for choosing theater roles over film roles, saying, "There is nothing better than doing a play in New York. It becomes, like, a really interesting chapter in your life." However, he adds that acting is, "A weird job - a really weird job."
In the interview, he also discusses his brief appearance in the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, and adds that it's gotten him a contingent of new fans. He explains, "Well, you know, a lot of them come to the play - which is nice; really nice. I just appreciate that Twilight really does bring a Community of people together."
Pace will next be seen in theaters as Thranduil in 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' in December, but doesn't have any other film projects in development.
