Actress Lena Headey plays the role of Cersei Lannister on the hit HBO television series "Game of Thrones" and [spoiler alert] she admitted to being both personally and professionally upset at the death of Joffrey Baratheon played by Jack Gleeson. Her character on the show loved Joffrey and put him up on a pedestal and because the cast had been together for so long it was hard to see him leave the show. However, while she was upset over his death she realized that it was eventually going to occur just like she is on the path to becoming one of the most in-demand leading ladies in the film industry.
The talented actress may look nothing like her "Game of Thrones" character in real life as she has short black hair due to a recent cutting of her hair while at the hairdresser and Cersei Lannister has long blonde hair courtesy of a wig worn on set but they are both women in charge and that is definitely Lena Headey. Her impressive acting on "Game of Thrones" has attracted numerous suitors in the form of producers and directors wanting her to be part of their projects and similar to her show only some will be so lucky.
The beautiful tattooed actress will be seen later in 2014 in the dramatic movie "Zipper" in which she plays a feature role in the movie about a family man who seems to have it all until he puts it all in jeopardy because he is unable to resist the temptation of other women.
Without Joffrey Baratheon on the show entertainment insiders are speculating that Lena Headey is going to be focused on even moreso in "Game of Thrones" and this is a situation that no television viewer, particularly men, will have a problem with because more screen time for this beautiful and talented actress is always a great thing.
