In 2012 she was part of the hit television series "Dallas" and she moved on from that role to film two movies, "Odd Thomas", a comedy horror in which she played Odd's mother and the movie "Deseo" in which she played the role of 'muchacha'.
Over the past year she has completed the filming of the "Ride", "Captive" and "A Fine Step", three movies in which Leonor Varela will play a feature role. Thus her professional life is going very well but she suffers because the love of her life, her young son Matteo sometimes suffers immense pain from the disease of leukodystrophy and as she noted on her Twitter account, some days are good while some other days can be very difficult for her son.

Leonor Varela's three most recent films have this talented actress displaying her dramatic range as an actress a toughness to her characters that will attract the attention of Hollywood producers and directors for even more substantial roles in movies.
