When talking about what they felt about turning 40 years old when they were young, Mann says, “40 felt like old people.” Rudd adds, “It still feels like old people.”
The interviewer also talks about how the whole ‘wishing your spouse dead’ idea came into the movie from Paul Rudd, to which Rudd replies, “If we’re going to try and make this movie and go to places that you haven’t really seen before, that are completely honest, which was always the appeal of it to me, and then we started kind of doing it and I went to some really dark places. Then, you’re like ‘there’s no way that’s making the movie’ [laughs].”

Mann also talks about the provocative scene where she has to fondle Megan Fox’s chest, saying, “I don’ think anyone was particularly nervous. I just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible because I felt very protective of her, and there were a lot of people around, and a lot of boys around, probably dirty boys with dirty thoughts.”
