It can often be easy for a star in the acting industry to find themselves becoming typecast, without them actually realising that it has taken place, which is why it is important for these stars to be mindful of the projects they choose to take on. That certainly seems to be something that Hollywood veteran Liam Neeson has been thinking about of late.
Liam Neeson has given us some fantastic performances in a number of different types of movies in his career but, over the past few years he seems to be bringing us more and more action movies. It is for that reason then, that Liam has claimed that he will soon move away from doing so many action films, as he does not want to become typecast.
Neeson told the Guardian, "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy. But after that, I'll stop [the action], I think. I'm in a very, career-wise, great place. The success certainly of the Taken films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-orientated scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit of course."
As far as his acting career is concerned, Liam Neeson can next be seen on the big screen in the movie Run All Night, which co-stars Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman, and Common, with the movie set to hit the big screen on March 13 in both the US and the UK. Check out the Run All Night trailer, below.
