One Direction’s Liam Payne has a new interview with the Sun where he discusses his brushes with fame, his love life, and how he deals with Twitter and the pressure of celebrity.

Payne reveals that although he went out on a date with Leona Lewis, that it wasn’t anything serious and that he would like to remain friends with his dancer ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer, who was the first major love in his life.
He says, “Danielle is great, I really hope we can still be friends. I bought her a car for her birthday, but she really isn’t fussed by money or fame. She was talking about dyeing her hair blonde and I said she should. She said she couldn’t afford it – which was mad. She wouldn't even ask me for the money for that.”
He also talks about how close the One Direction bandmates have become, and how crazy it is that they didn’t even know each other a couple of years ago. He says, “It’s mad to think I didn’t know them two years ago and now they’re my best mates. There is going to come a time when it all finishes and I just hope we stay mates.”
Payne also recently spoke up about being worried about bandmate Zayn Malik.
