There has been a lot of talk about the future of One Direction, ever since former band member Zayn Malik revealed that he was leaving the band for good. Many felt that this would mark the beginning of the end for the British boyband and that it is only a matter of time before One Direction split all together.
However, it seems that this could not be further from the truth, as One Direction are still going strong as a four-piece and feel that the future is going to be very bright. Liam Payne has opened up about what the future holds for One Direction and Liam insists that the band are stronger than ever.
Payne told America's Teen Vogue magazine, "Mentally, more than anything, we've grown up--although we are still very immature. We're learning to deal with different things that attack us every day. Being in this position, there's obviously huge pressure all the time."
He added, "There's been a lot of big changes in the band, and we have to grow past those different obstacles. To be honest with you, we're stronger than ever, which is amazing."
With a new One Direction album on the horizon, it will be interesting to see just how well it does but, in all honesty, we can only see it being a huge success. Despite the fact that they are now down to just the four of them, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, we have no doubt that One Direction will continue to be a huge hit for many more years to come.
