One Direction have been the biggest boyband on the face of the planet for the past few years now and, despite the fact that they are going to take a break for a while, we have no doubt that they will back and bigger than ever before. With that said, we still have plenty of new One Direction music to look forward to, with the upcoming release of their new album Made in the A.M. and the release of its lead single History.

The One Direction boys, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tominson, and Liam Payne have been talking about their new single History and what it means to them and for their fans. Liam, in particular, spoke about how the song focuses on the end of this particular chapter in the "History" of One Direction.
Payne was chatting to the guys over at Entertainment Weekly, when he said to them, "More than anything, the song is about the way the fans and everyone have created this massive thing—One Direction—over the past five years."

He added, "Out of [‘History’] comes a little bit of closure for this chapter of One Direction. It's really great because obviously that song is mainly about the fans and what they've done. I think it was important that they were a part of it, to close the album."
One Direction are set to begin their hiatus once their new album Made in the A.M. is released and we cannot wait to see what these four boys decide to do with their life and their career during this break.
