It has been announced that the new Ricky Gervais comedy series Life’s Too Short and the 1950’s drama series The Hour, are set to be BBC Two’s headline shows this year. Janice Hadlow, who controls BBC Two made the revelation as well as talking about who will be the stars to watch this year.
Janice said, "BBC Two has had a great start to the year, with some breakthrough hits in drama, comedy and factual. I've been delighted to see the channel win five RTS and five BAFTA Awards, right across the spectrum of programming, and I believe the channel is performing at its best with quality, distinctive and original output.” Hadlow continued, Looking to the next six months, we have some exciting new drama and comedy, like the hotly anticipated The Hour and Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's Life's Too Short.”
