When you have a famous parent who has had a hugely successful career of their own, it is always going to be difficult to achieve enough success in your own career to step out of their shadow. That is the challenge that has faced actress Lily Collins, who is the daughter of the hugely talented and massively successful musician Phil Collins.
While her father went down the music route, Lily Collins has decided to go down the acting path and has had a fairly success acting career since making her debut back in 2009. While Lily has been enjoying her acting career, it is something else that often steals the headlines from her and that is her eyebrows. Lily has bigger eyebrows than most and has been mocked for them on occasion but it seems that she has now come to embrace them.
During a recent chat with the Express, Collins explained, "It used to bother me – having bigger, fuller brows. I tried plucking them but I hated it and couldn’t wait for them to grow back. Now I embrace them. I realise the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful."
Lily Collins will appear on the big screen in the movie Love, Rosie, which sees her starring alongside such talented stars as Tamsin Egerton, Sam Claflin, Jaime Winstone and Suki Waterhouse, to name just a few. Love, Rosie is directed by Christian Ditter, based on the screenplay that Juliette Towhidi developed from the Cecelia Ahern novel. The movie is expected to open this year.
