Actress Tiffany Thornton is well known by teens and pre-teens for her role as Tawni Hart in the hit romance television series Sonny With A Chance (2009-11). The show centers around Demi Lovato's character Sonny, a talented Midwestern girl, who won a nationwide talent search and moved to L.A. She documents her home and work life as she adjusts to the spotlight and Tiffany gained tremendous exposure in her supporting role.
She has also appeared as the same character in the television series So Random (2011-12) which is a spin off of Sonny With A Chance with a musical theme that keeps some of the original show's sketches running with a new cast including Tiffany in the starring role, co-starring Doug Brochu and Brandon Smith.
Tiffany has also briefly appeared in several television series with a wholesome plot, that appeal to younger children as well as adults including 8 Simple Rules (2004); American Dreams (2005); That's So Raven (2006); Wizards of Waverly Place (2007); Hannah Montana (2007-8); Fish Hooks (2010) and Doc McStuffins (2012).
Tiffany is becoming a role model for young girls, whether intentional or not in her portrayal of wholesome characters which encourages girls to follow the lead. Her latest work includes the film Unlucky Charms (2013) which tells the story of five girls who are competing for the chance to model a line of clothing, but end of fighting for their lives against four mythical monsters in this horror film. She is also scheduled to appear in the role of Karen in the upcoming family film The Dog Who Saved Easter (2014).
