Little Mix have enjoyed some reasonable success since they won the X Factor last year and they are now preparing to embark on an 18 date tour. The girls have discussed how they have been getting into shape for the tour, which begins on January 28 at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall.
Perrie Edwards explained to the Daily Star, “We're quite worried because it's a tough, up-tempo album we've recorded, so it's going be an energetic tour. There's no sit down on stool moments, apart from maybe one. 16 songs that really test your stamina.”
Meanwhile Jade Thirlwell added, “We are in training now with personal trainers every morning because we need to get fitter, so that we can jump around and sing for this show.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock then praised choreographer Beth Donnan, saying, “She did X Factor with us and worked with Girls Aloud. She doesn't take any prisoners.”
Jesy Nelson said, “Everyone is going to get to know the band a little more, and have a party with us. We want the fans to come out and think, 'I could hang out with these girls'.”
Little Mix have been compared to the likes of Girls Aloud and the Spice Girls. Their new single DNA was released on November 11.
