It seems that multi millionaire music mogul Simon Cowell is not content with the success that One Direction are having and is keen to get Little Mix on the US radar. The Little Mix girls, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, recently had a meeting with Simon Cowell.
Little Mix gave Simon Cowell the first listen of their new single and admitted that it was very much like being back at school in the headmaster’s office. However, it appears that Simon loved the song and is hopeful of great things for the girls in the future.
Jesy Nelson explained to the Daily Star, "We had a meeting with Simon three weeks ago so he could listen to the track, and it was like sitting in the headmaster's office. We were so nervous before going in, it was surreal."
Jade Thirlwall added, "He really liked it. He's happy with the progress we've made in such a short time and just wants us to be as successful as One Direction. The album's going to be so different. No-one's expecting what it sounds like."
One Direction are currently enjoying huge success in the US and were recently invited to the White House.
