Every year, two prestigious names host the Grammy nomination live concert – with the Grammys being the premiere-most event in the music industry, rivaling what the Oscars mean to the film industry, it is an incredible honor that both Taylor Swift and LL Cool J have managed to get the hosting gigs.

The show will announce several different nominees in the major categories as well as introduce songs and performances by past Grammy winners. The show will take place for the first time in history in Nashville, which may be another additional reason for Swift getting the job – Nashville is her native town, and Swift has also made it her current home.
The show will be broadcast on December 5th and will be shown on CBS. The additional presenters and performers will also be announced soon, especially now that Swift and LL Cool J have been announced as the main hosts.
Swift’s star has risen so rapidly in the last couple of years that it almost gives you whiplash – just 7 years ago, she was still an unknown singer and now she’s one of the biggest music stars in the world, hosting the announcements for the Grammy nominations. She’s definitely come a long way from where she was when she first started.
