Hollywood actor Logan Lerman is set to reprise his role as Percy Jackson for the upcoming sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, which opens this week. Logan has spoken about the movie, comparing himself with Percy Jackson, admitting that there are some similarities between the two of them.
Lerman was chatting to Metro, when he told them, "I have a lot in common with Percy. Everyone has experienced self-doubt. I’ve felt that many times. I feel that on every film I make – initially I have to convince myself of my own worth, and then go out there and try my best. I always go in very insecure. But I feel that anxiety and stress is fuel for the fire to try to find what I need to discover."
He also went on to admit that he has been inspired by Michael J Fox, mainly because he feels that there are similarities between the first Percy Jackson movie and the first Back To The Future film. He added, "Michael J Fox, because the first Percy Jackson film totally reminded me of Back To The Future."
As well as Logan Lerman, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters also stars Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Leven Rambin, Brandon T. Jackson, Jake Abel, Anthony Head and Stanley Tucci. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters opens on August 7 in both the US and the UK.
