Logan Lerman has a new interview as part of his cover issue with Fault Magazine. In the interview, he talks about Perks of Being a Wallflower, why he first started acting, and working with Darren Aronofsky.

Talking about making Perks of Being a Wallflower, he says, “I was immediately drawn to it, because it just felt so familiar to me. Then, after reading it, I fell in love with the story. Usually, it takes a while after reading material to feel invested in it, or to even get a realization that it’s something I want to be in. This was immediate. After the first five pages, I was hooked, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”
As a Beverly Hills native, he talks about acting at a ridiculously young age to the easy accessibility of the profession. He says, “I started at a really young age – like, a crazy age to start working. It was just so accessible, going on auditions and living in Los Angeles.”
He talks about taking a break between acting, before starting back up at the age of 12. “I only got back into it because I had an interest in filmmaking, and well, what better way to learn than to be on set and act again?”
He also calls the movie he’s working on now, ‘Noah’, a ‘very cool movie’, saying, “We just started filming. To work with Aronofsky has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid.“
