The director of the hit comedy movie of the year, Bridesmaids has admitted that they are in no hurry to make a sequel to the film, just to cash in on the success of the original. Paul Feig admitted that there could be quite a wait for Bridesmaids 2, if in fact it does actually get made.
Paul explained, "Any interest in that is very, very unofficial. There's nothing officially in the works right now, but we're all open to it in a way. We just have to figure out a way to make it right.” Feig also added that the sequel would have to be better than the original.
He added, "Speaking for all of us, we would only want to do it if we knew it would be as good or better than the first one. None of us want to just do the thing to make a lot of money and ruin the memory of the first one." Bridesmaids became the biggest grossing female comedy of all time , taking $212 million worldwide.
