It seems that with prequels, sequels, remakes and reboots becoming all the rage on the big screen, the small screen are looking to get in on the action. A prequel to the hit television series Sex and the City is already being made and now it seems that a Lost prequel is set to be made.

So far the details are not entirely clear but it is believed that the Lost prequel will be focussing on the Dharma Initiative and their time on the island. So far, people have been referring to the Lost prequel as, Lost: The Dharma Initiative. Original right?
The series is said to start with the Dharma Initiative being thought up and as the series develops, the Dharma Initiative develops with it. It is not yet known whether J.J. Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber or Damon Lindelof will be involved and it is unlikely that any of the original Lost cast will star in the show.

Casting for Lost: The Dharma Initiative is set to get underway later this month, with filming due to begin this summer. The show has yet to be picked up by a Network, so only a pilot episode will be made for now, with the view to a full season being picked up.
