One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson put down the microphone and took to the football pitch on Monday, as he played for his local pub team the Three Horse Shoes. Louis played in front of thousands of fans, as the Three Horse Shoes took on Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Among the 8,000 strong crowd were Louis’ One Direction bandmates Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan, who were cheering him on from the sidelines. Tomlinson was delighted with the support that he and the teams received and thanked his fans for it.
Louis took to his official Twitter account to say, “Can't thank everyone enough for coming! Was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life!” he added, “So so lovely to have the boys there, thank you so much Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall for being there!!!”
While Louis Tomlinson and the Three Horse Shoes enjoyed a 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers, we are pretty sure that he will not be giving up the day job any time soon. It was announced yesterday that One Direction debuted at number five in the Britain’s Richest Under 30 list.
