It appears that the war between X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow has gotten so bad that the pair insist that they will never actually be friends. Gary fell out with Louis after he voted against his act Carolynne Poole, which resulted in her being voted off of the show.

Since then there have been a number of rumours regarding a fix, with claims suggesting that Louis Walsh had been told by an X Factor producer to vote against Gary’s act. Since then, Gary and Louis have not exactly been speaking and Louis has admitted that they will never truly be friends.
Walsh told Heat magazine, “Gary and I will never be proper friends. Gary has no sense of humour. This show isn’t about singing, it’s about entertainment. We’re in a competition and I’ll do whatever I have to do to get votes for my acts. I don’t care who I have to step on, or trample on.”

He added, “What Gary doesn't remember is, when he first started out he was the one doing photoshoots with his arse out and stuff. Anyone who can sing and dance at the same time... in my eyes, that's more of a talent than just standing there and singing.”
The X Factor continues on ITV1, with the live show on Saturday and the results show on Sunday.
