There are a whole host of talented British stars in Hollywood these days and, while some became huge overnight stars, there are others that have had to work hard to slowly but surely make a name for themselves in the acting industry. That is exactly what British actor Lucien Laviscount has been doing over the past few years with his acting career.
The British readers of you out there will probably recognise Lucien Laviscount, as he has appeared in a number of British television shows over the years. Lucien played the role of Jake Briggs in Grange Hill, before then going on to play the character Ben Richardson in Coronation Street. However, Lucien is probably best known for his role as Jonah Kirby in Waterloo Road.
As well as appearing in a few other British shows, such as Shameless Trollied and The Syndicate, Lucien Laviscount has since decided to make the move to Hollywood, to really try and prove that he has what it takes to mix it with the best the acting world has to offer.
Lucien Laviscount played the role of Ennis Ross in Supernatural: Bloodlines but unfortunately the pilot was not picked up for series by The CW and was subsequently dropped. Lucien has reprised the role for the actual Supernatural series, while he has also appeared in the television series Episodes.
As for where his future lies, we will next see Lucien Laviscount on the big screen, starring in the movie Honeytrap, which is written and directed by Rebecca Johnson and is expected to open sometime later in the year. It will be interesting to see whether Lucien Laviscount will have another crack at Hollywood or if he will stick to UK television work.
