X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan has admitted that she is a big fan of Marina and the Diamonds but not only for the music. Lucy, who is openly gay, has admitted that she has a huge crush on Marina and the Diamonds singer Marina Diamandis.
Spraggan told Metro, “She is my dream woman; if I met her, it'd be embarrassing. For once, I think I'd be lost for words.” She also confirmed her crush for Marina to a follower on Twitter, saying, “I fangirl over Marina and the Diamonds.”
Lucy Spraggan recently admitted that she felt great to be seen as a role model for people who were finding it difficult to open up about their sexuality. She said, “To have helped someone come out is the biggest compliment ever.”
However, while Lucy is openly gay, she is currently single but is hoping that being on The X Factor will help her to change that, “X Factor must do wonders for your love life. Girls do love girls with guitars,” added Spraggan
Lucy Spraggan is currently the most listened to contestant on The X Factor this year, although she is not considered the favourite to win the show.
