Things certainly seem to be looking up for country singer Luke Bryan, who is becoming more well-known around the World than ever before. Luke has a big few weeks lined up and they have started with him enjoying a little celebration party for his most recent success.
Luke Bryan is celebrating his first ever US Number One album, as his record Spring Break ... Here to Party has topped the US Billboard 200 chart. The record managed to shift an impressive 150,000 copies, which was more than double that of the album at number two.
Second on the US Billboard 200 chart is the late, great, Jimi Hendrix with the album Hell and Angels. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars is at number three with Unorthodox Jukebox, Mumford & Sons are at number four with Babel, while MACklemore & Ryan Lewis round off the top five with The Heist.
Luke Bryan has no time to rest though, as he will be preparing and rehearsing for his co-hosting gig for the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will see him sharing the hosting duties with experienced host Blake Shelton, when the event takes place on 7 April.
