28 year old French actress, director, singer and writer Mélanie Laurent has revealed how being a multi talented star can take its toll and can become rather tiring at times. However, Mélanie does admit that she loves every moment of everything that she does and each job brings her inspiration for other aspects of her talent.
Laurent explained, “I’m tired, but it’s super. I only do things when I’m inspired and when I do a record, it’s inspired me for the movie and it’s inspiring me for a character and everything inspires me. You meet people and that job is amazing for this. You meet amazing people.” Mélanie also claimed that she would never like to work on a film as both actress and director.
She added, “I don’t really want to work with me as a director. I love actors who are like big workers.” Mélanie Laurent has previously starred in the Quentin Tarantino hit movie Inglourious Basterds and has also appeared alongside Ewan McGregor in the movie Beginners. Mélanie is due to start work alongside an all star cast including Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Dave Franco, in the movie Now You See Me, which is set to be released on January 18, 2013.
