It has been reported that the Made in Chelsea creators are set to move away from London and start a new version of the show up north in Manchester. Production company Monkey Kingdom, who produce Made in Chelsea are currently believed to be in the pre production phase of the show.

A source explained to The Mirror, “The programme will be classy, like a Mancunian version of Sex and the City. They want to show Manchester at its best, with only the most glamorous bars, restaurants and nightclubs featured.”
The insider went on to say, “Lots of auditions have already taken place but they aren't satisfied yet and spots are still up for grabs. They only want gorgeous, well-connected people with great stories to tell. Anyone boring won't make the cut.”

It is believed that a number of celebrities, including Waterloo Road's Chelsee Healey (Janeece Bryant) and Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) are expected to appear on the show. With the current invasion of reality television, the last thing we really need is another bunch of nobody’s strutting around as if they are Hollywood stars. When will this nonsense end?
