It doesn't matter who you are or what you do for a living, if you have aspirations of making it to the top of your chosen field, then you are going to need a big break to give your career that extra little boost. That is most certainly the case in Hollywood, with all stars needing to have that breakthrough role which opens a number of doors for them and their career.
For actress Madeline Zima it was her role as Grace Sheffield in the hit television series The Nanny, where she appeared in 147 episodes between 1993 and 1999. Since then, Madeline has gone on to have a very successful acting career, appearing in some top television shows, as well as landing plenty of movie roles along the way.
Since she said goodbye to The Nanny, Madeline Zima has gone on to appear in guest roles for television shows such as Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer and Grey's Anatomy, before seeing her career land another big role. Madeline was cast as Mia Lewis in Californication, playing the character in 28 episodes between 2007 and 2011.
Following that, Zima played the role of Gretchen Berg in the series Heroes, appearing in 11 episodes between 2009 and 2010. Most recently, Madeline Zima landed the role of Jordan Alexis in Betas and has appeared in six episodes of the show to date. Add to that movie roles in A Cinderella Story, The Collector and Crazy Eyes and you will see that Madeline Zima has enjoyed a very successful career since The Nanny and long may it continue.
