Young talented Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams has caused quite a stir, since she blew people away with her amazing performances as Arya Stark in the hit HBO series. Now the 13 year old has taken time to discuss her experiences with the shows past actors and the possibility of those to come.
Maisie explained, “We’ve lost a lot of names now. We just started to film, and then he (Sean Bean) went away, it was weird, because it was my first [role] ever and it was my last scene and to be with Sean on my last scene, it was really nice, [but,] I’m a bit sad that he’s not coming back, but I think there’s going to be lots of other people to come.”
Williams also discussed her reactions to watching Game of Thrones with her parents. She continued, “My parents weren’t really that bothered about me watching it. But, I covered my eyes at the bit that was a bit graphic and awkward because my family was there. I was there when I had to do that killing scene and it was a bit scary, but I know that when we were there filming it that it was just a big green screen.”
Game of Thrones season two is set to return to the TV screens next April. It has been confirmed that model Gwendoline Christie will be appearing in the new season as Brienne of Tarth. It has also been rumoured that British actor Christopher Ecclestone could be set to star in the show as Stannis Baratheon.
