Indian actress Mamta Mohandas is known as a fighter in the Bollywood entertainment industry and with her fans for how she has dealt with Hodgkins lymphoma not once but twice and won the battle with this disease. This fighting spirit is also apparent in her movie career as she is adding to her list of starring roles with the role of heroine in the Mammooty project "Varsham".
The director of the movie is very excited about her willingness to be part of the movie and confirmed her participation on his social media Facebook page. In the movie she plays an attractive, smart and lively young doctor named Jayashree and will share the most prominent female lead roles with Asha Sarath.
Mamta Mohandra only recently resumed her comeback in acting after fighting off cancer and was last featured in the movie "To Noora With Love" and while the film did not make a major impact at the box office or with critics it did allow her to get used to being back in front of the camera where her superior acting skills were evident.
One of the best aspects of her acting in a lead role in this film is that she is working with an actor whom she has prior experience and good chemistry. For she and Mammooty this will be their second project working together as she acted with him in the movie "Bus conductor" and thus when she and him start shooting in August there will be level of comfort that comes with knowing the person whom she is acting.
Mamta Mohandra in 2012 was nominated for a Filmfare award for Best Actress and her presence in a film brings both male and female fans.
