Man of Steel actor Dylan Sprayberry, who plays a your Clark Kent in the Zack Snyder directed Superman movie, has revealed how Man of Steel is set to have an edginess about it, much like the Batman movie The Dark Knight. Dylan claims that he had a discussion with director Zack Snyder, where he stated that he wanted it to be realistic and emotional.

Sprayberry explained to Clevver TV, "When Zack and I were talking about it the first time, he was saying how Superman, they want to give it a more edgy feel like The Dark Knight but also make it more realistic and emotional.”
He added, “It's not just the all-American superhero that saves everyone. He has dilemmas and love and struggles throughout the whole movie, especially when he's a kid.”

Man of Steel is set to star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams as Louis Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Jadin Gould as Lana Lang.
Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder and is set to be released on June 14, 2013.
