It has been reported that some of the Manchester City players were involved in a post match dressing room bust up with each other, following the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday. The players were said to be so frustrated with one another that a fight broke out.

However, a spokesman for Manchester City has spoken out against these claims, saying “It is rubbish.” This latest setback for Manchester City has seen their hopes of winning the Premier League title all but vanish, as champions Manchester United opened up an eight point gap at the top of the league.
To make matters worse for Manchester City, controversial Italian striker Mario Balotelli was sent off for a second bookable offence. Mario was already facing a ban, which will now be increased, meaning that Balotelli will miss five of the last six matches of the season.

Recent reports have suggested that Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will be showing Mario Balotelli the exit door in the summer. However, it is not guaranteed that Roberto will still be the Manchester City manager for next season after the club have seen their hopes of silverware fall apart.
