With the spending power that Manchester City have had over the past few years, it looks like they might final have a chance of winning the Premier League title and taking some of the focus away from Manchester United. With that said, Manchester United are still one of the biggest teams in the world and any player would be silly to turn them down. But who would you choose?
Well one person who may have to make that very decision, is Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan, as both Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in securing the services of the Argentinean. Manchester United have been tracking the 23 year old for months now and Manchester City sent scouts to cast an eye over him in a recent cup match, so Benifica are going to have difficulty keeping him at the club this summer.
The likelihood is that Manchester City will pay well over the odds for the player, just so that they can get one over their rivals. However, if the player was to choose who to join, Manchester City could find themselves on the losing end.
