It has been reported that Manchester United’s French midfielder Paul Pogba has finally ended all of the transfer talk surrounding him, by signing a contract with Italian club Juventus. It was reported last month that Juventus were preparing to offer Pogba a four year deal and it seems that the Frenchman has accepted it.
The 18 year old Manchester United star is believed to have signed a four year deal with the Italian giants worth £20,000 a week and his agent is set to receive a commission on the transfer worth around £1.7m. As for Manchester United, they will receive a fee for training compensation with FIFA set to decide the fair amount.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has become increasingly frustrated with the lack of progression being made on contract negotiations with Paul Pogba and he has admitted that he does not know if the Frenchman is staying or going.
Ferguson explained, “I can't tell you anything about it because I do not know.” Paul Pogba’s departure from Manchester United will be the second time that a promising youngster has left the club this season, after Ravel Morrison joined West Ham in the January transfer window.
