It has been reported that Manchester United’s young, talented French midfielder Paul Pogba could be set to leave the Premier League champions and join Italian giants Juventus. It has been claimed that Juventus have drawn up a four year deal for the 18 year old, in an attempt to persuade him to leave the Old Trafford club in the summer and make the move to Italy.
Paul Pogba has been at the centre of transfer rumours for months now, with a whole host of teams being linked to the Frenchman, including Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea. With Paul Pogba’s contract rapidly running down and due to expire in the summer, many of Europe’s top clubs have been put on red alert.
However, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that he is quietly confident that Paul Pogba will sign a new contract with the club and has even had centre back Rio Ferdinand working on convincing Paul Pogba that his future is at Old Trafford. Paul Pogba is likely to be in the Manchester United squad for tonight’s Europa League clash with Ajax at Old Trafford.
