Following the huge success of the hit 2012 movie The Amazing Spider-Man, which went on to gross $754m worldwide, it was no surprise when it was announced that a sequel was going to get made. It was then revealed how we would get a few different villains in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which led a lot of fans to question if the film would become too overcrowded.
Fortunately for the fans though, director Marc Webb understands their concerns and was keen to point out that he would be doing his best to make sure that the fans were not disappointed by The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Regarding the concerns of overcrowding, Marc revealed that we would only get to see the villain Rhino on the big screen for four minutes, as the main villain of the movie is Electro.
Webb recently explained to fans, "We're obviously familiar with the complaints people had We're very careful to make sure the stories intertwine. For Peter Parker, it's very important that you create obstacles that are difficult to overcome." He would then add that The Rhino is, "in the movie for four minutes."
As well as having Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and Electro (Jamie Foxx), it is also expected that we will get a glimpse of the Green Goblin, with either Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), or Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper) as the villain. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will once again star Andrew Garfield in the titular role and will open on April 18 in the UK, before then hitting the big screen in the US on May 2.
