The entertainment industry is full of beautiful and talented stars from Australia these days, with most of these stars making a name for themselves on one of the hit Australian soaps; Neighbours or Home and Away. After doing their apprenticeship on these soaps, the Australian stars then head over to the US, where most of them soon become Hollywood stars.
One actress who has done exactly that, is The Wolf of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie, who made a name for herself playing the role of Donna in Neighbours. Since then, Margot has gone on to become one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood but she has not forgotten her roots, and credits Neighbours for the huge amount of success she has enjoyed.
Robbie recently explained, "Probably the most valuable knowledge I've acquired in the industry so far was on Neighbours,' said the blonde beauty. It is so fast paced that there is not really any room for error and it turns you into a very efficient person when it comes to being on set."
Whilst Margot Robbie has become one of the most exciting actresses in Hollywood right now, proving that she has what it takes to mix it with the best that the industry has to offer, she still thinks about home all the time. Margot says that she has people in Australia keeping an eye out for any roles that could lead to her going home.
Robbie added, "I still have my agent back in Australia keeping an eye on things there and we are trying to find the right job which will bring me home to shoot."
Margot Robbie has a number of movie projects lined up for the coming years, including a big screen adaptation of Tarzan, which sees her playing the role of Jane. Tarzan will open on July 1, 2016.
