While there are a lot of very impressive, well established shows around at the moment, moving into their latter seasons, there are also a fair few newer shows about too, which are making a good impression on the viewers and critics alike. One such show, which had a fantastic first season, is the series Orphan Black, which is preparing for its second season.
Actress Maria Doyle Kennedy plays the role of Mrs. S in Orphan Black and she has been teasing fans what they can expect from the upcoming second season. Maria says that Orphan Black season two is going to be bigger and better than the first season, while also admitting that she gets a lot more screen time in the new season.
Kennedy told Entertainment Weekly, "Season 2 of Orphan Black is like season 1 on crack", she says before going on to talk about her character, adding, "You’re going to see more of her. I had a great time in season 1 and there were some great scenes, but there was also a lot of hovering. They just really liked me so wrote me more this time, so that’s great."
As well as starring Maria Doyle Kennedy, the Orphan Black cast also includes Tatiana Maslany, Kevin Hanchard, Dylan Bruce and Jordan Gavaris, to name just a few. You can catch these guys, along with the rest of the cast, when Orphan Black season two premieres on BBC America on April 19.
