With the World Cup 2014 drawing to a close, with the quarter-final matches preparing to kick off, there are becoming more and more transfer rumours heading our way and, with more players heading home from Brazil, the more transfers we are going to see getting completed before the start of the season, with more expected between then and the close of the transfer window.
One player whose name has been flying around this Summer, is that of Italian striker Mario Balotelli, who is currently playing his football in Italy but could be set for a move back to England. Balotelli left England when he made his move from Manchester City to AC Milan back in January 2013 but it looks like he could be on his way back to the English Premier League.
The majority of the rumours over the Summer have suggested that Arsenal are preparing to make a bid for Mario Balotelli, as they aim to strengthen their fire power up front. However, it seems that they might have to battle it out with Liverpool for Balotelli, with Barcelona expected to sign Luis Suarez during the Summer transfer window.
Obviously this is just transfer speculation for now but it is strongly believed that Luis Suarez will leave Liverpool this Summer and the club would definitely need a big name striker to replace him. Meanwhile, Arsenal have a lot of money to spend this Summer and need a top striker to support Olivier Giroud up front.
Would you like to see Mario Balotelli back playing his football in the English Premier League?
