New Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has vowed to improve his new clubs fortunes, by bringing in some more firepower up front. Mark has pinpointed his attacking options as the clubs biggest weakness and has vowed to bring in a couple of strikers who can shoot the Loftus Road club up the table and away from the relegation zone.
Top of the Mark Hughes wish list is Manchester City hitman Roque Santa Cruz, who is currently out on loan at Real Betis. Hughes is a big fan of Santa Cruz and has worked with him at both Blackburn and Manchester City during his managerial spells at the two clubs. However, it is unclear exactly how much Manchester City are looking to get for the striker, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.
The other striker that Mark Hughes has identified as one of his main targets, is Fulham striker Bobby Zamora, who is attracting a lot of interest from a number of clubs. Bobby Zamora is currently out of favour at Fulham, after falling out with manager Martin Jol and would jump at the chance to team up with Mark Hughes again. Watch this space!
