Comic book movies seem to have taken over in the past few years, with a number of them being released each year. Many of these comic book movies then cross over and it seems that we could see a new one. Fox creative consultant Mark Millar says that we will almost certainly see a Fantastic Four and X-Men crossover movie.

The old Fantastic Four team
Millar was talking all things comic book with the folks over at SFX, when they asked him about a possible cross over, to which he responded, "Without question I think you have to see some of these guys showing up in each other’s movies."
He then went on to say, "I think the most exciting thing in superhero movies, until The Avengers came along, was when Nick Fury showed up in Iron Man. Even though it was a guy with an eye patch it was really cool – and I expect we will see more of that."

The old skool X-Men team
The latest installment in the X-Men franchise will see X-Men: Days of Future Past released on May 23, 2014. Meanwhile, Josh Trank, who previously worked on Chronicle, is penning the story for the new Fantastic Four film as well as directing the movie. Fantastic Four has a release date planned for March 6, 2015.
