Mark Millar has been talking about the upcoming movie sequel Kick-Ass 2 and what goes into bringing the comic book character to life. Mark claims that it can be a very emotional experience and there can be little nods to the comic books, which can really please those in the know.

Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl
Millar explained to Comic Book Resources, “To give an example, the set designer has built the Justice Forever headquarters for the super team that Kick-Ass joins. He's made the whole thing with such detail that there's a part based on one line I've got in the comic where Russell is making a schedule, and he worked out a whole schedule of which of the heroes would be available when. It's hanging up on a piece of paper in the kitchen of the headquarters along with a list of who likes cream and sugar in their coffee."
He added, “It's just all these tiny, tiny details you might not see in the film. They're just in the background. John Romita was almost crying walking around the set! It looked just like his panels coming to life in front of him. It's quite an emotional thing as crazy as that sounds.”

Kick-Ass 2 will see the return of Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass, Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl and Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy. They will be joined by the likes of Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes and Lindy Booth as Night Bitch. Kick-Ass 2 is set to be released on June 28, 2013 in the US and then in the UK on July 19, 2013.
