Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo received rave reviews for his performance as Bruce Banner and Hulk in The Avengers movie and it led to fans calling for a new standalone film. However, while there have been rumours about one being made, Mark insists that he will not be playing the Hulk again until The Avengers 2.

Ruffalo took to his official Twitter account to let his follows know the bad news, although he is still positive for the future of the character, "A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers2. No plans for stand alone," he tweeted.
Mark then went on to admit that he would be doing his utmost to get a standalone Hulk movie in the future, adding, "I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it’s not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring."

Joss Whedon is currently in the process of working on The Avengers 2, saying that it will dig deeper into the relationships of the characters. The Avengers 2 is expected to be released on May 1, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
