Mark Ruffalo is set to appear on the big screen later this month as The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers team used motion capture technology, deciding that The Hulk should resemble Mark as much as possible. Now Mark has reveal just what went through his head when he first saw his Hulk.

Ruffalo explained to The Hollywood Reporter, "There was a lot of talk about whether Marvel wanted The Hulk to look like the actor and [director] Joss [Whedon] and I felt very strongly that it should.”
Mark then went on to reveal the moment when he first saw the sculpture of what The Incredible Hulk would look like, using his features. He added, "I got a huge, huge smile on my face. It scared the hell out of me, as well." Ruffalo also joked that it looked similar to his father when he was angry.

The Avengers stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
The Avengers is released in the UK on April 26 and the US on May 4.
