Martin Scorsese’s latest project Hugo Cabret has finally revealed when it will hit the big screen. Martin Scorsese directs the family mystery, which is currently in post production and it is expected to be released on November 23, 2011.
The screenplay for Hugo Cabret was written by John Logan and is based on the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick. It is set in Paris in the 1930’s. It centres around a young orphan, who lives in the walls of a Paris train station. The boy manages to get caught up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.
Hugo Cabret boasts a host of Hollywood stars including Chloe Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Christopher Lee and Ben Kingsley. Young up and comer Asa Butterfield stars as the title character and Jude Law will appear as his late father.
