The Guardians of the Galaxy movie will be the first non-Avengers film that Marvel are adapting for the big screen but they are still hoping to have the same impact as their previous projects. In fact, Marvel are hoping that audiences will be wowed by the Guardians of the Galaxy film.
Marvel’s longtime Executive Vice President of visual effects, Victoria Alonso, told Crave Online, “We’re going to do it the best way possible. We are going to hopefully wow [you].”
She added, “The beautiful thing about it is technology is always on our side, so we’re I would say very deeply into developing the look and hopefully some motion tests are happening so that we can figure out how they move, but I think that we will put all hands on deck to make sure the fans are proud of those two characters.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie is set to be directed by James Gunn, based on the screenplay that he has been developing from the comic. In terms of casting for the Guardians of the Galaxy film, the only confirmation so far is that Chris Pratt will be playing Star-Lord. Guardians of the Galaxy is set to be released on August 1, 2014.
