With the Marvel movie Iron Man 3 just a few months away from being released, there has been plenty of talk about the film. Now, Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has been talking about Iron Man 3 and the franchise as a whole, hinting at the possibility of Pepper Potts putting on the suit to become Rescue.
Feige had a rather lengthy conversation with About.com, when he told them, "In the comic books she does get a taste for the suit and becomes her own hero named Rescue, who doesn’t necessarily battle other people, but is on missions to help people and to save people."
He added, "Will we do that down the line with Gwyneth Paltrow? Who knows. But her being in the suit is something we have been playing with since Iron Man 2, where we did some designs and it didn’t end up fitting in that movie. But the little taste you saw here [in a clip] is something that we’re certainly interested in."
As well as starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Iron Man 3 also stars Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley. Iron Man 3 has been directed by Shane Black and is set to be released on April 26 in the UK, before it hits the big screen in the US on May 3.
