There has been a lot of discussions about who should win the lead role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. The amount of high-profile Hollywood stars that have been mention would mean that you must be doing something wrong not to be mentioned.

Now there have been a lot of polls done by a lot of different people to try and find who the fans want to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film and time and again, the same two names keep coming out on top. Those two names are Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer.
However, the fact that Matt Bomer keeps getting linked to Fifty Shades of Grey has caused some to argue that he would not be right for the role, simply based on his sexuality. Matt is openly gay and many people have claimed that he would not be convincing enough in such a sexual role.

This is obviously ludicrous, as Matt Bomer is one of the most talented actors around at the moment and his sexuality does not affect his ability. Plenty of straight men have played gay roles in the past so why not the other way round? Just take John Barrowman for instance. While he is not exactly an A list actor, he is very convincing in straight roles, while being gay.
Therefore, we see no problem with Matt Bomer playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. What do you think?
