It is almost impossible these days, to come across a Matt Damon interview, without there being a mention of the Bourne movies. Matt has admitted time and again that he would love to do another one, but only as long as Paul Greengrass was involved.

Damon explained to Playboy, “I love the character, and the three movies we did, so I'd love to figure out a way to do another one. I'm going to talk to Paul Greengrass about it.” However, Matt is convinced that it would not be possible to have a Bourne movie with both him and Jeremy Renner in.
He added, “I don't see those characters teaming up with anybody. Jeremy Renner is a terrific actor. I love everything he does. I have not seen the movie yet, but it isn't in protest or anything. When it came out last summer, I was filming a movie about Liberace right up to the end of August. We then had to rush back to New York, where we live, so we could get the kids settled and into school.”

Matt Damon is next set to appear on the big screen in the Gus Van Sant movie Promised Land, which he co wrote with John Krasinski, who also stars in the film. Promised Land is set to be released in the US on January 4, 2013 before then being released in the UK on April 19, 2013.
