Hollywood actors Matt Damon and George Clooney have worked together on a number of occasions in some pretty impressive movies over the years. The two most recently worked on the movie The Monuments Men and you would have thought that Matt would have known exactly what to expect from George on set.
George Clooney has developed a rather big reputation over the years as being a bit of a prankster on the set of his movies, something which Matt Damon discovered on The Monuments Men. Matt has revealed how George got the wardrobe department to take in Damon's trousers by an eighth of an inch every other day, causing great confusion to Matt, who was trying to lose weight, not gain it.
Damon explained, "He took in my wardrobe by an eighth of an inch, every other day. (He) had the wardrobe department do that because he knew that I was trying to lose weight. This was a job where I would go back to New York, where I was living with my family, and I would come back (to film in Europe) for two weeks and then I'd go back to New York, and every time I came back my pants were tighter, and I was like, 'Ugh, this is weird. I've been going to the gym'."
As well as starring in the movie, George Clooney also wrote and directed The Monuments Men, which boasts an impressive cast including Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin and, of course, Matt Damon. The Monuments Men will open on February 7 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on February 21.
