Hollywood star Matt Damon is set to appear alongside Michael Douglas in the movie Behind the Candelabra, which features scenes where the two men have to passionately kiss each other. Michael’s wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has now revealed how Matt would think of her while kissing Michael.
Zeta-Jones told Access Hollywood, “Matt actually said to my husband that when he had to kiss Michael, he'd close his eyes and pretend he's actually kissing me, which I thought to be extremely flattering.” Catherine also went on to speak about her own experiences with onscreen kissing.”
She said, “It's not something that's an entirely normal day out at the office. I remember when I had to kiss Brad Pitt once, Michael asked me what I was doing that day. I went, 'I'm lying in bed, kissing Brad Pitt'. He went, 'Good for you, darling. You enjoy'.”
Behind the Candelabra failed to get funding from a major Hollywood studio, which led director Steven Soderbergh to say that the movie was too gay for Hollywood. However, Behind the Candelabra was picked up by HBO and is set to air in February.
