Bourne trilogy actor Matt Damon has revealed that, despite not appearing in the latest Bourne movie, he hopes that he and director Paul Greengrass will make a return to the franchise. Matt admitted that he is looking forward to seeing how Jeremy Renner does as Bourne but he is hoping to return in the future.
Damon explained, "I was always fine with them doing another Bourne movie as long as it didn't preclude me and Paul from doing another Bourne. From what I understand, it doesn't at all, so that's fine. I really want to do another one with Paul and I'm sure it'll happen someday, but for now they're doing this. I'm keeping hope."
Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, is directed by Tony Gilroy. The movie also stars Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz and Albert Finney. Bourne Legacy is currently filming and is expected to be released on August 3, 2012. Would you like to see Matt Damon return as Bourne?
